How many pairs of pants is a normal number?

I think guys and girls are different, but on average, what’s the number?

I mean, you don’t have to wash jeans as often as underwear, am I right? Underwear—you gotta have at least one pair for every day of the week—otherwise, you’re doing washes all the time. Nobody wants that.

Jean—what’s the deal? They’re not a single wear-and-wash, right? Jeans shouldn’t be a one-and-done like underwear is.

Look, sometimes jeans NEED to be a one-shot deal. I get that. Maybe you put on a fresh pair, go for a walk and happen to slip into a pool of mud. You gotta wash those suckers—no way of getting around it. But, if you wear a pair of jeans to your office gig and never encounter any acts of god that temporarily tarnish them, I don’t see the problem in popping those bad boys back on a few more times to get your detergent load’s worth.

They shrink, too! You gotta be careful with jeans or you’ll run through them way too quickly. Denim isn’t cheap!

I don’t know. That’s my thought process anyway.

Until next time,
