Well, this is kind of a pointless day.
We’re in that weird, awkward stage between Christmas and New Year’s.
Why didn’t we just put them next to each other? Why did we add this weird week between the two holidays?
Many people aren’t working this week, choosing instead to spend the week with their loved ones if possible.
General productivity, however, would increase were we to smush Christmas and New Year’s together. People would spend two days with their loved ones, as opposed to the full week.
Someone very ineffectual mapped out the holidays—I know that much.
