What I find funny is how a “mastermind” can either be a really good thing or a really bad thing, but never anything in between.
You’re either an intellectual mastermind that improves the overall quality of life for humanity by rapidly forming innovative new technology, or a criminal mastermind that schemes elaborate heists for deliberate personal gain, but never a morally ambivalent mastermind that uses his/her abilities for the sake of crossing a street or biting into a Turkey Club.
Masterminds are always on the extreme ends of societal morality, but never in the middle.
Why is that?
I’d like to see more mastermindal (great new word I just invented) representation across all walks of life. Is that really too much to ask?
Until next time,
