For the last 6 months, I’ve only had a white belt, which I hastily tore off a pair of cargo shorts to hold my jeans up when I was in a pinch one morning, but never got around to replacing.
You know those cargo shorts belt things? The ones that come with the shorts? They usually have those two metal loops on one end that you need to kind of fiddle around with before you realize how they actually keep your pants up?
Yeah—that’s what I’ve been using as my everyday-belt.
Honestly, it could have been worse. My pants have been staying up, every day, without fail, so kudos to the underpaid foreign children that probably made them.
Now, I finally treated myself to a black belt, so when people look at me, no longer will their first thought be, “what the hell is that guy doing with a black suit and tie with black shoes and a white belt?”
Until next time,
