Well, the Coffee Queen at Burger King has officially stepped up her game, yet again. She never fails to impress me.
Today, I walked into the establishment and, instantly making eye contact with me, the Coffee Queen hit the buttons on the register and proceeded to pour me a large black coffee. By the time I reached the register, the card reader already said, “INSERT CARD,” which I did without skipping a beat.
The receipt burst out of its plastic cocoon immediately, at which point the Coffee Queen was already handing me my coffee and saying, “have a good day!” These were the first words of our interchange.
To the Coffee Queen who lives at Burger King: thank you for your incredible efficiency.
