I cannot express how worth-it fountain pens are.
Every time I yank out my pen, it never ceases to impress innocent bystanders (can’t explain my inclusion of the adjective “bystanders” here—it just felt like it belonged). Whether it be on the subway, in Panera, in church, etc., it always gets a strong reaction.
Already, the act of constantly carrying a pen on you that you can lend to people who need to write something on a whim is impressive enough as it is. Now, imagine that same pen is a fountain pen.
This combo absolutely astonishes people. It blows minds.
What? You carry a pen on you at all times? And WOAH! Your everyday-carry is a fountain pen? What in the hell?!
Carry a fountain pen. Blow people’s minds.
