There are cameras all over the place in public.
Nobody can commit crimes anymore like they could back in the olden days.
Back in the 1800s, if you wanted to kill somebody, you just killed them. You didn’t worry about getting caught, because nobody got caught back then.
Everybody just killed each other and nobody got caught.
People would DUEL with each other, TO THE DEATH, RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET.
Nobody cared.
One guy would get shot in front of all his friends, and they’d be like, “ah, that’s a shame…” and GO BACK TO DRINKING! They’d just leave the body there! Who the hell would clean up all these dead rotting cowboy corpses?
The only time you’d go to prison was if you still somebody’s horse or something stupid like that… and they would HANG you for that! They’d put a sign on you that says “horse thief” on it and then EXECUTE YOU.
But murder was totally cool.
