I’ve come to the point where I’m most comfortable in cars when I’m the one driving.

I guess this is a good thing, because it just goes to show how safe of a driver I am, but at the same time, it’s kind of horrifying.

Do you realize how much responsibility falls on me, being THE BEST driver I know?

I know I’ve mentioned this before, but in a post-apocalyptic Fury Road type situation, I’d like to be the one driving. At the same time, however, I’d be nervous about my responsibility for the lives of everyone in my car, but regardless, I’d feel at ease knowing that my steady hands are controlling the steering wheel rather than someone else’s clumsy fat paws.

Is this representative of my general skepticism of outsiders?

Should I be more open to accepting the aid of others?

Do I have such little faith in strangers that I only trust myself to be capable of doing the right thing?

Yes.

Until next time,
