Well, July is over.
Pretty much this means the summer is over too, so make sure you start setting up lunch plans with your friends now that the kids are back to school.
If you happen to be one of those kids returning back to continue your education, sorry, I guess.
As a grown up, I don’t mind Autumn. The weather is just absolutely terrific. I like a little nip in the air—I don’t know about you guys.
My favorite time of year is when my breath starts showing up because of the low temperatures—big fan of that, I am.
When I was a youngster, I used to act like I was smoking when I exhaled in the cold weather. I’d act like the water vapor from my breathing was actually smoke from a cigarette.
Why is that?
Why do kids think smoking is cool?
Is it because smoking is an “adult” thing to do?
I don’t think they’re trying to act mature, because otherwise they’d mime other adult things, too. You never see kids acting like they’re paying taxes. They never act like they’re getting divorced. They never act like they’re planning their fathers’ funerals.
I wonder… Oh, do I wonder…
