I’m currently in the process of a massive data manipulation.
This is a fancy way of saying that The Daily Clot is currently undergoing “Extreme Makeover: Clot Edition.”
This is yet ANOTHER fancy way of saying that The Daily Clot is getting upgraded from a single massive page into a series of blog posts. It will load more easily, be easier to navigate, and look more like a traditional blog.
For the time being, The Daily Clot will remain unfazed. We will continue releasing a new post every day, following the same format as we have been for the past 5 months.
If you’re reading this in the future, this post itself will appear as its own page rather than as a single post sandwiched between 40,000 + words on either side of it, which is a tremendous improvement for your experience as a reader (or as a “starer,” I guess, if you happen to be illiterate and enjoy staring at the words blankly).
Disclaimer: this data shift is occupying a considerable number of laborious hours, yet it ignores every ounce of my creativity. As a result, I’ve been feeling dead inside since this project began, and I will very likely continue to feel dead inside for the remainder of this project. This will probably affect the quality of The Daily Clot posts negatively over the course of the next few days, but only time will tell.
