This next post is intended only for those with hardened hearts who are willing to accept some rather dark truths.
I think we need to rid the planet of all illuminated “exit” signs in our buildings.
You know those lit up red “exit” signs that remain on during power outages? They tell you the fastest safe way to exit in case of emergency?
Get rid of them. Permanently.
As a society, we need to become SMARTER and more vigilant. In order to do so, we can’t coddle those who panic in tense situations.
Instead, we need people to learn for themselves the best way to exit any building in case of emergency in advance.
I want people who are forced to prepare themselves for when schnitzel hits then fan, not people who depend on bright red neon lights for direction.
We don’t want sheep—we want leaders.
Force people to fend for themselves by potentially endangering their lives.
The inattentive ones will be weeded out, allowing our species to evolve stronger, with eyes like hawks (especially if future generations decide to breed with hawks, which would be disturbing, but very interesting).
