My sister brought a second child into this world yesterday (congratulations, sister and new nephew! Also, to all my readers: this is a perfectly good excuse for the brevity of yesterday’s post.), making me what is commonly known as a “double-uncle.”
Her first child knows me only as “Uncle Thunder.” If I do my job right, her second child will do the same.
There’s too many “Uncle Mikes” out there. The world needs some pizazz.
Luckily, Uncle Thunder is here, his name gifting some light to a dark world chock full of “Uncle Mikes.”
