Panera’s delivery car is a BMW.
I have so many questions.
1) Since when has Panera been doing deliveries?
2) Why did they decide they needed a BMW?
I don’t really have any more questions about the topic, so I guess I don’t have that many questions, but both of the above are very valid questions that Panera has yet to answer. Quality occasionally outranks quantity—this is one of those times (deal with it).
Who knew Panera does delivery? Is there a minimum spending amount in order to take advantage of their delivery service, or can I have nothing more than a single chocolate chip cookie delivered to my front door? I don’t know.
Also, and this is the more pressing matter of the two questions, WHY in the WORLD would they opt to buy a BMW for deliveries?
It makes no sense.
Get a Hyundai.
Get a Toyota.
Get a KIA, for heaven’s sake, but not a BMW.
It’s a delivery car—it doesn’t have to be comfortable.
The CEO of Panera (Blaine Hurst) is really screwing the pooch if he thinks that a BMW delivery car is the most cost-effective option, because, trust me, it’s probably not.
It’s not even an American car! If you’re going to go for a luxury vehicle, which is in itself absurd, at least choose something American. Get a Camaro, or a Challenger—something AMERICAN if you “absolutely need” a classy car.
You have disgraced your customers, your employees, and your country. Shame on you (but you still cook a mean broccoli-cheddar soup).
Until next time,
