I wonder if anybody getting divorced has ever married their divorce lawyer.
That’d be pretty ironic, right?
I mean, when divorce is the opposite of marriage, so marrying a divorce lawyer is sort of paradoxical.
What about if you’re a registered officiant in New York State and you’re officiating a wedding between two divorce lawyers? You’d be marrying divorce lawyers? That’s crazy. What if they then got divorced? Would they need to each get separate divorce lawyers, or would they just duke it out themselves?
Or, what if you’re married to the officiant in a double-divorce-lawyer-wedding? And what if you divorce them? Then, you divorced the one who married the one who divorced plenty of others.
Lots of marriage and lots of divorce on this planet, but not enough Radiohead albums. Ain’t that the truth?
